Custom domains
Setting up a custom domain makes it even easier for your customers to find your public feedback portal. Instead of visiting subdomain.noorahq.com they can visit, as an example, feedback.yoursite.com.
The first to setting up custom domains, is to sign-in as an Admin and open the Admin view of your Noora workspace. Click on Settings on the sidebar, and then click on Configure... underneath "Custom domain".
You should then enter the domain name you will be forwarding to Noora. For example, feedback.yoursite.com. You will need to add a CNAME DNS entry for the record you will be forwarding traffic from, this entry should point to cname.noorahq.com
Here are some instructions for setting CNAME records in various popular DNS services:
- CloudFlare (Instructions)
- GoDaddy (Instructions)
- Google Domains (Instructions)
- Namecheap (Instructions)
We will automtically handle SSL certificates via Let's Encrypt. This process can take a few minutes to an hour, so initial requests might fail to reach your site. During the process of setting-up the domain name, you can see the updated status in Noora.
